One hundred and twentty-eight children with totally 216 ametropic or anisometropic eyes were treated by YD-1 weak sight electric stimulator developed by authors. The cure rate was 30.56%, the remarkably effective rate was 13.42%, and 78 eyes were improved(36.11%). The total effectual rate (86.58%) was significantly higher than that of control group (126 children with 209 sicked eyes) with comparable age, diopter and degree of amblybpia (P<0.01). Therefore, this apparatus proves to be effective.
