Objective To explore the application value of clinical nursing pathway nursing（CNP）in idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura（ITP）. Methods A total of 110 ITP patients admitted to the hospital’s hematology department from January 2021 to December 2021 were divided into control group（n = 53）and study group（n = 57）by random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing，while the research group was given clinical nursing path management. The nursing effect of the two groups of patients was evaluated，and the nursing satisfaction was investigated. Results The length of hospital stay and the cost of hospitalization in the study group were lower than those in the control group，and the health knowledge score in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group，and the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）. After two weeks of treatment，the disappearance of clinical symptoms and signs and the improvement of platelet count in the study group were significantly better than those in the control group，and the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）；The total effective rates of treatment in the control group and the study group were 81.13% and 96.49%，respectively，and the nursing satisfaction rates in the control group and the study group were 77.36% and 96.49%，respectively. The data of study group was significantly higher than that of the control group，and the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）. The incidence of complications in the control group was 11.32%，while no complications occurred in the study group，so the data of study group was significantly lower than that of the control group，with a statistically significant difference （P＜0.05）. Conclusion The clinical nursing path of ITP showed important application value. While improving the clinical efficacy of patients，it could also shorten the length of hospital stay，reduce the economic pressure of patients，as well as improve the satisfaction rate，and lower the incidence of complications.
